I think we will find the big bang is just one of many large quark gluon nova. And just one of many smaller ones that occur often as black hole and neutron star populations inside central black holes create regions that exceed the quark gluon condensation pressure. Black holes are not always consolidated, they are black because of mass density, and often not singularities. Our big bang region is black because its mass is large enough to trap light, seen from the outside. Or it was when part of it exploded. Recycling older material, in a context of much older material.

Some of those big early galaxies are going to have established central black holes.

I classify black holes as just one type of star that can have regions with rich regions of quark gluon material. If people would help with building high sampling rate gravitational imaging arrays, for the frequencies from nanoHertz to GigaHertz, and put array nodes on the Moon and Mars, it will soon (a decade or two) be apparent that “black holes” have internal states and are not simple singularities. The central black holes are almost certainly collections of many types of dense stars in fairly stable but excitable and complex orbits.
