KiloTesla and MegaTesla fields are routinely considered in many areas of research now on the Internet. KiloTesla fields can be created and used fairly routinely. MegaTesla fields will be common for laser vacuum activation. KiloTelsa fields will reduce the size of fusion devices. “Mr Fusion” type devices won’t happen for a few years, but they will start around 500 Teslas, or pulsed KiloTesla. The limit is actually modeling of “quasi-static” magnetic field regions as intense photon, electron or ion pulses impinge on tailored material targets. Many more potential fusion reactions are possible when nanosecond, picosecond, femtosecond and attosecond intermediates (unstable but reproducible intermediates) are used. A transient isotopic state with a half life of 1 picosecond is essentially static (“quasi-static) for modeling and screening for good reactions.

Strong magnetic gradients can be synthesized and used to make strong acceleration fields. (forces on masses with very specific properties). Synthetic gravitational potential fields are just as good as natural ones and can be tens of orders of magnitude stronger.
