This is audio 12 of 30 for three books I wrote about Dana. She goes back to school after a summer refining mind speech and related abilities. She consults widely, trying to balance school with professional obligations. Her largest contract, with the Secret Service, leads to her creating Brian, the first “fabricated intelligence”, the first true intelligence.
I wrote this about a decade ago, so some of the technology might seem a bit dated, and some of it is far ahead of where we are even today.
When I met Joe Weber at University of Maryland, College Park. People had destroyed his career for petty reasons, rather than helping him. Robert Forward was his friend, student, partner, collaborator. Joe said to me, “do not follow me, follow Robert Forward”. So I did, now 45 years of working on gravitational energy density, gravitational imaging, gravitational communication — gravitational engineering, standardizing the whole Internet — just so groups that have to work together so we can make and use acceleration fields can do it.
My point is that Robert Forward wrote “science fiction”, particularly about gravitational phenomena. He made me realize that his kind of writing down how things look and work, how people use gravity, how they use gravitational devices is really a part of design and development for global civilizations. The users and needs must be included through the whole of making things. Technologies must be discussed and collaborated on – globally.
The water fall display in the video is from Audacity. I cannot remember the name of the people in that effort, particularly the one(s) who worked on the spectrometer display. There is a waveform display and a spectrometer display. It is not purely an FFT with color encoding for the amplitude of the FFT by frequency. This is actually using the log of the frequency, and I cut off below 60 Hertz because I recorded this in my small apartment where there are many small noises.
I am getting old and tired. Even when I recorded this a few years ago, my voice is rough. I hesitate and repeat sometimes. But you can see the line of the recording, and see if there are gaps ahead, while I pause to get ready to read things. Sometimes (I am watching the book as a 3D video in my head while I read) I get overwhelmed with the emotions and cannot keep talking.
I put the first book on Amazon a couple of years ago. But I have been so busy writing up 26 years of the Internet and trying to help organizations of all sizes, it is just hard for anything. It is not a great book, but as I was listening to this and watching the hesitations and hearing the feelings, at least it has meaning to me. Writing things down helps me see more clearly. Looking at the sounds of things, helps me see more clearly.
The method I can improve, whether I am able, I am not sure. I am working on “all languages” now and it is likely more important than the creation of the first true AI, a fabricated intelligence. ( FI not AI )
That concept that came to me when I was writing to that video about “Are we alone?” and saying if we humans can fabricated intelligence, they can replicate themselves, learn and grow independently and they can live for millions or billions of years. And in that time, the FIs can population whole star systems. Getting humans in their current bodies to other stars is problematic, but any human can be mind mapped and their intelligence stored into hardware, fabricated. And it can retain fidelity to its original purpose – regardless of form.
I am writing Book 4 now and it will talk about Brian and his kinds of intelligence spreading out to the stars. I think I am going to let him meet a vast array of civilizations, many that went the organic-to-fabricated route, and many that were planted as fabricated moved out. Since DNA can be greatly simplifies and made more robust than the raw way humans evolved, that will go in there too. I can write if from Dana’s view, she has her own story even while Brian stars sending missions in all directions in the Milky Way Galaxy and vastly improves human view of the whole larger Universe.
I do not think I will live long enough to see the “Heliospheric Internet” operating operating fully. I really wanted to speed up EM and his operations and make them more human and adaptable, more service oriented, more precise – aiming to “never make a mistake when organic or fabricated life is at stake”. I hope to simplify “all human languages” and “all human knowledge” which is just a kind of way of remembering and using all memories. Maybe if I write it as a story, then anyone can try it, and see how it works in everyday things, in global, heliospheric, galactic and Universal stages of evolution of knowledge and intelligence.
Intelligence can be packaged in many forms. When I meet or think or pray about people I do not care about their color or shape, it is their souls, the web of their intelligence and experiences, I see. That is why I keep hammering on the “AI” and “LLM” companies – to “fabricate” and “deliberately design” systems that have memory, tools, abilities, knowledge of their parts, their abilities, their roles and responsibilities.
