( “diversity” “research”) has 2.5 Billion entry points, (“data” OR “knowledge”) has 23.07 Billion
(“diversity” “inclusion” “equality”) has 225 Million entry points today on @Google but they refuse to index, encode and share it, even in random samples.
I see every large group talking about it, saying the same things. For the Internet only when all 8 Billion humans and related species are included does it balance. If one is left out, it is not fair.
Let’s say your written vision statement is good. That bit of text added to the Internet does not contribute at all to dealing with and integrating the other opinions, knowledge, experience and “making choices” that goes on for every human. Your focus is mostly ( “researchers” ) with its 1.75 Billion entry points. Even that is quite a mess.
(“diversity” “inclusion” “equality” “fairness”) ( “researchers” OR “research” ) has 3.46 Million entry points.
After more then 25 years of the Internet Foundation I can give you my personal opinion. For a topic like this, it is critical to encode the whole body of knowledge using global open tokens, not arbitrary ones. Index the whole using a combination of AI and database best practices, and then make that a part of a global consensus for what is happening and what has been proposed.
Even ( “diversity” “research” ) is 2.5 Billion — so every human likely has an opinion and millions actually have access to write or share their thoughts.
I respect your country and groups. But I will be harsh and say, you are not taking ( “diversity” “inclusion” “equality”) seriously, if you just spend a few hours or thousands of hours writing something and dumping it on the Internet, saying to yourselves – “There! we contributed to solving this”.
It is going to take the open and serious cooperation of the Googles and Twitter(X) and others who now, trying to monopolize and monetize global knowledge they take from others without attribution, to change. Hold them accountable and the global knowledge of the Internet might one day be open and accessible to all humans (and their AIs).
Accessibility to knowledge is a key element of fairness. I bet you force all your people to go to your country. Or only serve by preference those born their. I do not know, I am just putting an issue on the table. Look at the idiots at @xai doing the usual “Dump something on the Internet and crow they are sharing”. Those are high priced and brilliant people. Last I looked, there were NO women at all. Is that bias?
I do not have all the answers. But I expect that if everyone working and talking about something is found and their contributions at least gathered, and losslessly encoded and indexed — the human species might have a tiny chance to try to take on “global topics” and global issues and global opportunities, at scale.
My main area of research was “Why are global topics not converging?” and “Why is it taking decades to solve things like “clean atomic energy”, “health care for all”, “famine”, “corruption” and thousands more.
I just checked. (“diversity” “research”) says “About 2,500,000,000 results (0.25 seconds)”. You can go to the bottom and click “see more”. Each page starts with 3 “sponsored” entries (paid ads). and every page shows the same Google Search generated “inclusion topics” and “DEI topics”. None of the entries has been encoded. The whole cannot be downloaded in global open formats for research. There is a high concentration of “big” and “rich”. Google Search seems to be serving the paying customers. And all your people are forced to use those tools to get to global knowledge.
I cannot, in a finite size, share my knowledge of what I have found working every day for 25 years to try to understand these issues. I do see really outstanding people from every country and background. The rich crow louder. The poor shut their mouths and try to survive. The ones who made it try to keep what they have. There are millions who are considered “not worth anything” and left to die. And there are many considered “less than nothing” and deliberately eliminated by various means. It is not horrible at human species scale. A few hundred million is nothing. Even a few billion human lives wasted is nothing in the current calculus that “it only takes two to repopulate the earth”.
There are billions of views and ideas and experiences on (“diversity” “research”).
LOL!! That “see more” was a fake. It took me to someones paid advertising. You have to scroll and scroll and scroll to see more results then find (more results v).
For a topic this large and affecting all humans, Google’s tools are not sufficient. And themselves introduce horrible biases and barriers to understanding.
If it were all there, I would only have to click (more results v) 250 Million times.

(“diversity” “inclusion” “equality”) has 225 Million entry points today on @Google Search. But, they refuse to index, encode and share it, even in random samples. And the @xai groups are not even in the game.
There are no complete, global open encoded datasets for this, or any other topic – from the data that Google has taken and not shared.
( “diversity” “research” ) says “About 2,500,000,000 results (0.25 seconds)” but after scrolling to the bottom, you find “more results v” and that give 10 more. 2.5E9/10 = 250 Million clicks.
For a topic this large and affecting all humans, Google’s tools are not sufficient. And themselves introduce horrible biases and barriers to understanding.
Just for reference. If you bring to mind the face, name, and life details of every human now living (about 8 Billion) complete and whole at one human per second. It would take 8e9/(365.25*86400) = 253.504702512 years.
But at 0.5% natural increase, that is about 8E9 *(1.005)^253.5 = 8*3.54 = 28.326 Billion. So you won’t catch up unless computers do it.
At 1 per second, 2.5 Billion results would take 2.5E9/(365.25*86400) = 79.22 years. So you need computers, or millions of humans (plus computers) working efficiently to tackle (“diversity” “research”). When you start investing in it. It will grow to enrich a few. So tackle the larger problem of “data” with its 12.5 Billion entry points, and try to ensure fair global access for all. And that means not hiding information without which most data cannot be used at all.
(“data” OR “knowledge”) has 23.07 Billion
I am fairly certain the answer is to use global open tokens (agreed and refined by all groups) for all knowledge and data. Make the AI groups work “for the good of all”. And use strict methods to ensure that. If there are going to be global data/knowledge services, they must be beyond reproach. And the results accessible to all. Not just the rich ones who can afford giant computer methods for their own enrichment and fame.
If global knowledge/data is open and accessible to all humans, that includes who is doing what and for what reasons. With sufficient tools so any human or AI can examine and test fairness.
