Movies and images of the sun

The sun’s diameter is about 109 times the diameter of the earth.
This is a movie of today’s sun. Bottom right you can set the playback speed to 0.25 so you have time to look around.  I use a magnifying glass in Windows to look closely.  A lot happens.
These are snapshots of the sun today in different kinds of light.  Click on the blue “Data Links” and at the bottom of many it says “48 hour movie”. The ones that say 4096 are 4096×4096 images. When they open, click on them and it will zoom in.
