When I was at UT Austin and hanging out with Prigogine’s group, there were many others around him who were as or more inciteful. I suggest you spend time and study what Nico Van Kampen was doing and saying. He was visiting a short time from Utrecht, but I remember him as one of the few people who could talk wisely about most any topic – from a deep perspective on how the human and natural worlds work. It is not sufficient to know how physics (the stuff to model the real nature around us), but also to model and predict the convoluted methods of human groups and biases, gaps and tendencies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Prigogine and Kondepudi (Dilip) wrote about gravitational fields effect on chemical reactions. It is also about low cost detection. There are many ways to understand gravitational potential effects, that are not big “bang bang”. Nico would likely agree and have some stories to tell. I have few regrets in life, because no one can change the past. But I promised I would come visit him and never did. What we feel we ought to do, and what we are supposed to do, sometimes conflict.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
