And a host of companies now trying to grab a piece.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"9p46o\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"9p46o-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"9p46o-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9p46o-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"549ul\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"549ul-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"549ul-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"549ul-0-0\">I already tried a 3D volumetric map of the Earth, Sun, Moon and planets and heliosphere to (1 mm)^3 and smaller. It can be done with regions of interest. You want to do it, the world is going to make you build it yourself. Scan any cubic (10 km)^3 region at (1 mm)^3 accuracy and see what you find useful.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"549ul-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"549ul-0-0\">\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"a1289\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"a1289-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"a1289-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"a1289-0-0\">First decide what you want to do with the data that is not being done now, or as you would like it to be, and look how many decades you have to work 18\/7 to make it happen.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"1m5t8\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"1m5t8-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"1m5t8-0-0\">\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"6vjtg\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"6vjtg-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"6vjtg-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6vjtg-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"805kd\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"805kd-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"805kd-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"805kd-0-0\">&#8220;Build it and they will come&#8221; will not work. You have to find the markets, and those mostly have hoards of developers and investors circling and chasing dreams.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"31i2f\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"31i2f-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"31i2f-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"31i2f-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"21f8\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"21f8-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"21f8-0-0\">Any random (10 Km)^3 collection of voxels in a cube (100,000 km)^3 = (1E5*1E3 Meters)^3 centered at the earths center holds lots of potential information. Volumetric scans of that to (1 mm)^3 are possible for hundreds of properties and calculated values. The goal seems to be 1 Angstrom but there are groups down at picoMeter already and some beyond. I was talking to groups yesterday about mapping at (1 femtoMeter)^3 and attoSeconds.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"eaenf\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"eaenf-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"eaenf-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"eaenf-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"9f7k6\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"9f7k6-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"9f7k6-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9f7k6-0-0\">You would be better to help all the emerging global and heliospheric sensor networks work together, share in global open lossless formats, correlate over decades, and see what emerges. (the diameter of the earth is about 12,750 km)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"emsah\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"emsah-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"emsah-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"emsah-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-rbd-draggable-context-id=\"7\" data-rbd-draggable-id=\"48nja\">\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"892c0\" data-offset-key=\"48nja-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"48nja-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"48nja-0-0\">It is thankless, slow, difficult and you are not likely to see any end or satisfying outcomes in your lifetime. The groups working at (365.25*86400 = 3.15576E7 Seconds) are in the weeds. But that can at least be mapped and shared losslessly if you can get those groups to work at (100*365.25*86400 = 3.15576E9 Second).
